We have found that grading our tiger maple from 1A to 4A is the fairest way to price these boards.
1A and 2A: (stripes coming from both edges but not connecting across the board) 2A has more consistent stripes than 1A.
3A and 4A( figure across the board with very prominent stripes) 3A is a very nice board but 4A are our best boards.
